Eastern Cape Owner of the Week : Mr SJD Mynhardt
Mr SJD Mynhardt’s Augusta Green (owned in partnership with Mr JF v d Westhuizen) won the 3 rd race a Maiden Plate over 1600 metres by a short head at Fairview on 25 February. This victory was enough to earn him the ROA Owner of the week award. The three year old gelding was bred at Klawervlei Stud – Gimmethegreenlight (Aus) – Possible Dream by Captain Al. Augusta Green is from the Sharon Kotzen yard and was ridden by Luyolo Mxothwa.
