Team Valour (Nom: Mr Barry Irwin) – ROA Owner of the Week – shouted 4 year old filly Black Silver home when convincingly winning the FM 96 Handicap over 2800 metres at Kenilworth on 1 February. She has had 12 starts and boasts three wins and 5 places. Black Silver was bred at Drakenstein Stud (Nom: Mrs GA Rupert) and Team Valor Intl (Nom: Mr B Irwin) – Silvano (GER) – Ebony Flyer by Jet Master and is owned by Drakenstein Stud (Nom: Mrs GA Rupert), Team Valor Intl (Mr B Irwin), Mtrs Vanashree and Mr Anant Singh. The other successful team members are Justin Snaith and jockey Grant van Niekerk.
