Christmas Flower started favourite in her second career start and won the Maiden Plate over 1600
metres at Turffontein on 12 October. She was bred at Wilgerbosdrift and Mauritzfontein – Flower
Alley (USA) – Saint Mary (Ire) by Holy Roman Emperor, is from the Alec Laird stable and was ridden
by S’Manga Khumalo.
