Unsurprisingly Gauteng Guineas and Graham Beck Stakes winner National Park was voted Port Elizabeth horse-of-the-year at a function on Wednesday evening.

Yvette Bremner’s champ also picked up the champion three-year-old male accolade.

National Park can be expected to feature prominently in he coming Cape season, with the Green Point Stakes and L’Ormarins Queens Plate being races which will suit this crack miler.

The gelding was bred by Rob Knuppe’s Missing U Syndicate, who  races him along with Hedley McGrath, Bryn Ressell and Mark Wright.
