The Alan Greeff stable successfully delivered two winners for Mary Slack at Fairview over the past
week to earn her the EC Owner of the Week Award. Chakri, a four year old filly produced her second
career win in a FM81 Divided Handicap over 1600 metres under the ride of X Ndlovu. She was bred
at Wilgerbosdrifrt and Mauritzfontein – Dynasty – Rat Burana (Brz) by Dodge (USA). Mary also had
victory on 29 July at Fairview in a MR72 Handicap when Greg Cheyne rode In A Perfect World to win
over 1600 metres. This three year old gelding started favourite. He was also bred at Wilgerbosdrift
and Mauritzfontein – Idea– World – Quintessential (Arg) by Not for Sale (Arg).
