The WC Owner of the Week is Mr MJA Ferreira. Silver Operator in the 1 st race on the card at Kenilworth on 8 June started his winning streak. The first timer 2 year old colt won a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1400 metres after starting out favourite. Silver Operator is from the Vaughan Marshall stable and was ridden by MJ Byleveld. He was bred at Klawervlei Stud – Silvano (Ger) – String Operation by Captain Al. Later in the day Cousin Liz, 2 year old filly, won the R200 000
Kenilworth Fillies Nursery (Grade 3) – she has won both of her career starts. Cousin Liz is from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable, was ridden by Bernard Fayd’Herbe and was bred at Riverton Stud – Captain Al – Fiesta Queen by Parade Leader (USA). Later in the week, InVidia won a Juvenile Plate over 1400 metres at Turffontein producing back to back wins. The two year old colt was bred at Klawervlei Stud – Tice Over (GB) – Zili by Parade Leader (USA). InVidia is from the Ashley Fortune stable and was ridden by Muzi Yeni.
