Laurence, Tessa and Jarryd Wernars had a good win with Being Fabulous (Aus) in the Syringa Handicap over 1600 metres at Turffontein Racecourse on 19 May. The five year old mare started out at 44-1. This was her second career win but she has achieved a number of places. She is from the JA Janse van Rensburg stable and was ridden by Jockey C Habib.
