The R610 000 WSB East Cape Poly Challenge is on again!
Since the Jacques Strydom trained Gogetthesheriff so very nearly won all three legs back in 2016 this series has grabbed the attention of the racing public.
Juan Two Three (Alan Greeff) won the first leg over 1200m on Monday (18 March), his 11th win in 20 starts, but might not be in action in the second leg, the R110 000 WSB Challenge 1400m (Non-Black-Type), on 12 April. The third leg over 1600m is on 10 May.
The bonus of R250 000 that will be paid to owner of the horse that wins all three legs of the Challenge looks to be safe.
The chase for the R50 000 consolation bonus for the horse acquiring the most points over the three legs is just as exciting though.
Don’t miss the next two legs!
