The latest Longines World’s Best Racehorse rankings is further proof that the 3y old gelding National Park is the proud of Port Elizabeth racing at the moment.

National Park is one of four South African horses on the list of 23.

Hawwaam (10TH place), Do it Again, National Park and Rainbow Ridge (sharing 14th place) are the South African horses on this influential list.

National Park is enjoying a wonderful season and is the favourite to be crowned as the East Cape horse of the year at the end of the current season.

He won the gr3 Graham Beck Stakes last year November at Turffontein and was back in Johannesburg in February to take the honours in the gr2 Gauteng Guineas. National Park followed it up with a third place early this month in the gr1 SA Classic.

National Park is trained at Fairview in Port Elizabeth by Yvette Bremner and is owned by Bryn Ressell, Hedley McGrath and Mark Wright.
