The EC Owners of the Week, Bryn Ressell and Marsh Shirtliff won back to back races at Fairview on 1 March. Both winners are from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable and were ridden by Aldo Domeyer. What a Summer won a MR72 Handicap over 1600 metres after starting favourite. The four year old gelding was bred at Favour Stud – What a Winter – Limerick by Fort Wood (USA). Fabian produced his second career win in the feature on the day, the Listed Ibhayi Stakes over 1400 metres. He was bred at Lammerskraal Stud – What a Winter – Furina by Parade Leader (USA).
