The EC Owner of the Week Award went to John Kinsley after winning the Maiden Plate over 2200 metres at Fairview on 17 November with Fort Viva who started favourite at 16/10. Kinsley owns and bred Fort Viva – Elusive Fort – Vivalavita by Sportsworld (USA). The four year old gelding is trained by Vaughan Marshall and was ridden by M Byleveld.
