Impressive KZN Guineas Trial winner Sir David Baird, Selangor second and third White River and Do It Again, and Racing Association Stakes winner Pack Leader are also interesting entries for the 2017 Cape Guineas.

The Guineas is one of four feature races due to be run at Kenilworth that day, with the others being the G2 Premier Trophy, G3 Cape Summer Stayers Handicap and G3 Victress Stakes.
