Veteran jockey Mark Khan was in vintage form at Greyville on Sunday, landing four winners in a row.

The former national champion’s run started in Race 2 with Duncan Howells’ Mr Greenlight, and then took in Race 3 and Race 4 with Easy Ginger and Special Force, both trained by Lezanne Forbes.

In the main event of the day, Race 5, he steered home Roy’s Magic for trainer Kumaran Naidoo, holding on by 0.75 lengths from a challenging Duzi Moon.

Khan just missed out on five in a row when his mount Myelisha was second in the sixth race.
