Last week proved to be successful for RA Member George O’Brien who had victories at Turffontein on 9th and 11th October.
Angelic (owned in partnership with D Foster-Jones and GT Peter) is a four year old filly who won a FM72 Handicap over 1800 metres under the ride of Carlos Herrera Gomez after starting at 8/1. She was bred at Normandy Stud – Gitano Hernando (GB) – Yours Eternally by Western Winter (USA). Later in the week Corrido (owned in partnership with K and LRA Zackey and GT Peter) won a Maiden Plate over 1600 metres under the ride of Charles Ndlovu. Corrido was bred at Nutfield Stud – Mambo in Seattle (CAN) – Malaguena by Cordoba (USA). Both winners are from the Paul Peter stable.
